Once upon a time….. I was walking in Ebisu when I saw this gorgeous Japanese girl passing me. I stopped her immediately and asked her to enter the Miss Universe Japan 1999 competition. She did!

Fast forward 2 months later….

One of the judges for the final was rock-star and lead-singer of the Duran Duran band: Simon Le Bon. But 2 days before the final Simon unfortunately canceled due to some travel problems. Nick Wood, Simon’s dear friend, business partner and top music producer, replaced him and when he saw Norico on stage his jaws dropped and he felt instantly in love.

Fast forward a few years later, and here they are celebrating their union, their love and their future together. My baby girl is so beautiful, pure, elegant, fascinating in her wedding dress. I am so proud. I love you Norico, you are one of the sweetest on earth, you have a pure heart and a big one.

Listening the funny stories about Nick by his ex-roommate: supermodel Yasmin Le Bon and super-designer Marc Newson.

Nick has so many funny stories. He is bigger than life, one of the most unique and sincere person on this earth. I do have many funny memories or stories as well, from Tokyo, Dubai….

Yasmin Le Bon is spectacular, simple, fresh, bubbling. I have a lot of admiration for Yasmin. She is pure gold, no wonder so many couple break up but together with Simon, they are still together, loving after a decade. More than 25 years married!

It was fun, fun and sweet!

I stayed at the Tokyo American Club this time. They have nice guest rooms, and I chose the Oasis one. It was very nice. here on the photo with Mr Lance Lee my friend and President of the prestigious club.

I shot for Glitter magazine yesterday morning, then 6 hours shooting for FOX.

I slept 11 hours just now, I was so tired.

to the airport! I will sleep in the plane back to Singapore.I will have spent 4 full nights in a plane within the past 10 days. Totally mad. WOW!

Mr. Palombo, an Italian illustrator has redrawn a selection of fashion industry luminaries as characters from the hit cartoon The Simpsons.

 

Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld, Alber Elbaz, Marc Jacobs and curator Diane Pernet have all been reimagined by Alexsandro Palombo in the style of Matt Groening’s favourite family from Springfield.

The illustrator was previously a knitwear designer, showing his collections at Milan Fashion Week, but is now better known as a subversive force via his blog Humor Chic.

It is not his first…. Previous sketches have included a skeletal Michelle Obama, Adolf Hitler (dressed in Louis Vuitton), a gun-toting Karl Lagerfeld holding a bleeding Bambi and photographer Terry Richardson.

In October, Mr Palombo announced that the rare form of the disease had left him partially paralysed and that he would no longer be contributing to his blog.

However, with this latest round of incisive portraits, it would seem that he’s back and bolder than ever.
