THE MAKING OF
Emiri is made up by M.A.C Pro-Team Tokyo, and her hair styling by Sunao for Toni&Guy Harajuku.The kimono is made of 2 kinds of black leather from dear and cow skins. The details are printed in a very traditional and special way in pure gold on the leather. The bodysuit is supplied by LYCRA.
Also, Emiri together with Yoshiyuki, the designer and Hiroko Mima who has been training Emiri for Interview in Japanese. (Uzi Kakuda has been training her in English).
Emiri should be landing in Miami very soon. Big kisses Emiri chan and tons of thank you to my incredible team at the office… Yumiko Kawashima, James Watanabe, Sachi Maeda, Takako Nakanishi, Sachiko Hayashimoto, Kei chan, Yuka Nozone, and of course ……. “the coaches”: Hiroko, Uzi, Miguel and Guillaume because they have literally not slept since the past month, even tough they were all staying at my home from the beginning of the sadventure (Emiri preparation). It was a great fun all together, I miss it lots already.

I LOVE this costume! Just like Kurara’s costume in 2006, I think it really adds excitement and a fresh new twist to a traditional Japanese costume. I agree with you Ines the Miss Universe needs to be more in tune with modern times, tastes, and trends. There needs to be more excitement.
I think Emily will do good this year.

de mon oeil, c’est l’angle de prise de vue pointant la culotte qui est obscène alors que le kimono est splendide, notamment le tombé qui échappe au genre mini-jupe. La culotte quant à elle est fondue avec les jarretelles rien à redire, peut être un manque de pilosité (désir très actuel et retour de Méduse) mais ce n’est pas à l’ordre du jour du concours… encore bravo !
