Mr. Palombo latest cartoon! The Simpsons de la mode (of fashion)
LOVE IT!!!!!!! How cool?! i am a big fan of The Simpsons.
Mr. Palombo, an Italian illustrator has redrawn a selection of fashion industry luminaries as characters from the hit cartoon The Simpsons.
Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld, Alber Elbaz, Marc Jacobs and curator Diane Pernet have all been reimagined by Alexsandro Palombo in the style of Matt Groening’s favourite family from Springfield.
The illustrator was previously a knitwear designer, showing his collections at Milan Fashion Week, but is now better known as a subversive force via his blog Humor Chic.
It is not his first…. Previous sketches have included a skeletal Michelle Obama, Adolf Hitler (dressed in Louis Vuitton), a gun-toting Karl Lagerfeld holding a bleeding Bambi and photographer Terry Richardson.
In October, Mr Palombo announced that the rare form of the disease had left him partially paralysed and that he would no longer be contributing to his blog.
However, with this latest round of incisive portraits, it would seem that he’s back and bolder than ever.
AHHH!!!

My favorite gowns from Paris Haute Couture spring/summer 2012
Close your eyes for a moment and imagine you’re an Oscar-nominated actress. Now open them and take your pick of these fairytale gowns from Paris Haute Couture for your big night…
Giambattista Valli - But maybe red on a red carpet might make you disapear….
Elie Saab – simple but Princess like
Christian Dior - This fairytale gown is for nominees only!
Atelier Versace - Molten magic from red carpet queen, Donatella Versace.
Stephane Rolland - OMG! This striking two-tones Stéphane Rolland gown could give the effect that the red carpet is erupting around the wearer – in a good way… I would wear this one!!
Valentino – Total fantasy, totally amazing!
Givenchy – Givenchy couture has become one of the red carpet’s most popular labels. This white number is perfect for the more avant garde attendee.
Eva Minge – Following the trend for fishtail dresses at the Golden Globes, this Eva Minge gown is sure to be a popular request on Oscar night.
Atelier Versace - For sure a show-stopper effect it would be!
Alexandre Vauthier – Understated elegance, modern chic, definitely my other choice. Actually, I will look into seriously buying this dress!
Now, imagine you had the body of these girls on the pictures, which dress would you wear to the Oscars?
Vera Wang invites you to her new home in Los Angeles – Harper’s BAZAAR
Photos of Vera Wang’s Hollywood Home
WOW such a body at 62 years old!!!
Vera Wang is a powerful woman from Asia, she dresses the top stars in Hollywood since a decade.
Explaining to the magazine how she came to pose in the outfit, she admitted: ‘I wanted to wear a corset from Alexander Wang, whom I like a great deal. I was thinking it would be over a legging or a boyish short, but the next thing I knew, I was there in a swimsuit.
‘The funny thing is that I’m the girl who no one sees at the beach. Ask anyone who’s traveled with me. Normally, I’m in so many layers, I look like Lawrence of Arabia!’
Her home is clean and calm looking. I love it!
The first time I met her it was in New York a few years ago, she was together with David Bowie and his wife supermodel Iman on a red carpet. I have a LOT of respect for her. She did it all by herself.
