i dont know if she is a disney princess but i would say mulan because she is asian and as beautiful and avant-garde as a miss japan.

I would say your favorite Disney Princess is Mulan, a courageous girl who tries to defend her values and her family. Plus, she’s Asian hehe. Or maybe Pocahontas for almost the same reasons.

I think Arielle is cute but a bit imature to give away her voice and be in a catastrophic situation.

I was thinking between Mulan and Pocahontas because they are both beautiful and they have power in their heart. Determined heart and Strong actions. Mulan is Chinese, and you live in Japan, so I think you know the difference between chinese and japanese very well. Working with Japanese, i dont think your favorite princess would be Mulan.. Her personality is not really japanese.
Also Tiana is beautiful and I love her. but she is too new to be your favorite.

So my Answer is Belle. She is FRENCH, thats a big plus for you, She loved beast for his heart and not his looks. (Ur husbond is handsome! dont panic lol)

I think Kodinza got it right, but I’m gonna make an argument that hopefully will change your mind, Ines, if Kodinza was right.

All Disney princesses possess kindness, beauty, and intelligence, but in terms of bravery and avant garde in thinking, I think Arielle is the best of them all.

An undersea princess with unparalleled beauty and power, Arielle falls in love with the most mundane and low-life things that does not belong to her world but that of another’s world. She then sees beauty in a being that is far beyond alien than a beast … that being is a human man. Ines does this for a living. She sees and works to bring out the extraordinary beauty and styles in the surrounding things and more importantly, in the ordinary girls of Japan.

Back to the Little Mermaid, because of her ambition and love for the unknown world and her love for her–not merman–man, Arielle chose to part with her voice which is as beautiful and as Arielle as herself so that she could transform into another form of beauty and live among and as a foreign being just for a slim chance at love. In Ines’ early career, she opened a beauty salon and left it at its peak to pursue her fashion ambitions and later was appointed MU director to live and work in a foreign country of which she loved their culture and people. Transformation, inner strength, and love for different people–that’s so Ines! Even though Belle is French, I think Ines is aptly too kind to see beyond this egoistic fact.

Back to the Little Mermaid, Arielle does not just trade her voice for a chance at love. She’s got a hard chance to overcome verbal (she is now mute), geographical (she’s now on land), cultural (she’s now in a human environment), and social (she now has to make everyone like her and her man to fall in love with her) great challenges … all in the name of love. Ines also has faced similar challenges when she started working in Japan, i.e., learning the Japanese language, culture, and customs, etc., to revive beauty pageant in Japan and send would-be finalists to Miss Universe.

I tell ya…the parallelism continues to unfold the more you think about Ines and the Little Mermaid. And I think there’s nothing more avant garde, modern, and stylish than switching a fish tail for a pair of hot long legs to the evil octopus Ursula’s butt as Arielle did.

Ines, please let me know if your favorite princess was originally someone else and you changed your mind after my post. If that happens, I will faint and then wake up with the biggest smile on my face. LOL

hmm, on this topic I agree with you, Kodinza.

I’d say Belle is the answer. Not only is she beautiful by nature, she has the natural “woo” coming out from her inner being.
Belle loves to read and believes true beauty comes from one’s inner core. She is brave, outgoing, intelligent, full of curiosity, has a strong core and is a moral being, has justice, truly loves her family, very confident in herself, and full of charity.
I thinks these compositions are very similiar to what Miss Universe is all about. (at least I hope)
I personally favor Belle as the best princess that Disney has ever made.

I think people tend to love Princess who is the most close to you I like Arielle, Mulan and Tiana.

Arielle – i liked her fins and the desire to be in a different plaece. Like me always traveling !

Mulan – just because she is asian,, but i dont like her personality much. Too masculine lol

Tiana – Minority Race, but great heart and very Gambaru spirit. I love the songs so much
