Hey Ines, I’m a webmaster of T-Pageant.com. Today, I gonna talk about the preparations of Miss Thailand, Chuttima Durongdej for pageant fans in aboard.

Before I knew Chuttima or Kaimook(Pearl) . I didn’t recognize about her much because there were a lot of stunning contestants for Miss Thailand Universe this year. Certainly, I didn’t concern about her conquer as well.
However, since I had an opportunity to talk to her. I could say that her personality, attitude, etc let her more beautiful. After that good chance, I did consider that she could be named as Miss Thailand Universe.

In Miss Thailand Universe pageant, most delegates did not concentrate in the pageant much. They just did something for fun. In contrary, Chuttima didn’t do something like that. She tried to analyze other contestants, tried to find a unique of each delegate who were in the top list. After that she let it for improving herself. She did it daily for doing better in the next day.
In final night, absolutely she was a winner. By the way, she had a lot of comment from Thai people, also from foreigner. Chuttima always phones me about it. Anyway, I still believe in her. Chuttima has told me that she has waited this moment for a long time. She made a great effort to finish her Master’s degree from United Kingdom because her father will permit her in beauty pageant after graduation only.

Being as a representative of Thailand in Miss Universe pageant is the highest goal of her life. She would like to be a beauty pageant queen because she wants to follow her dream, not for letting herself to be a star or model. Another dream of her is succeed to business of her family. (Her family’s business about water strainer and others worth over 800 million baht) Chuttima also want to do her charity project. She told me that the previous beauty queens of Thailand are her inspiration in doing charity.
Chuttima knows that she is not perfect enough of Miss Universe pageant that she will compete to over 80 delegates from around the world, therefore she have tried her best with hard preparation that is supported by Miss Thailand Universe Organization and Thai pageant fans.

Regarding her costumes for Miss Universe pageant, definitely, she quite trusts in brand “AMORE” of Thailand, although she always use brand name like Dior and Prada in her routine. I have wondered when I saw her with a simple little white wallet that I found after I opened it that it was “Dior”. Accordingly, I observed other appliances of her; I found that her shoe is “Prada”. All of this let me know that Chuttima using brand name in her daily life without boasting or trying to wear brand name and photo herself to thank a sponsor humbly for free costumes like someone.

About her personality preparation, she needs to practice with John Robert Power. She also attended dancing classes and modeling classes almost every day in the past 3 months. She told me that she has to wake up at 5 a.m. for exercising before went to the classes in each day. Moreover, she always had lunch in her own car because she really had no time. There was what she did. I myself as a webmaster of Thai beauty pageant fans who has seen the preparations of Thailand’s representative for 10 years, I could say that Chuttima did the hardest things with her best effort.

Regard to Chuttima’s national costume, this national costume was chosen from over 1,400 works that Thai people have sent to Miss Thailand Universe Organization for the national costume designing competition. The pattern of national costume that was selected under the concept of “Creative Thai” was inspired by the costume of mountaineer who lives in the north of Thailand, which using burden for a longer neck. (Ka-rieng-Kor-Youa). This national costume is mixed between a burden for an upper part and a real ancient Thai fabric (around 100 years old) for lower part (this fabric has been weaved with delicate and exquisite pattern). I would like to say that the beautiful culture from Thai tailor in the lower part of this national costume will let this costume more stunning than the one that using obscene underwear for lower part like the national costume of some delegate that her national costume has been mixed beautiful culture with obscenity, which is something no taste.

I think Chuttima is really effort. She has a personality, also a good taste. The most important thing is she dares to deal with the right things without being something like robot that has a lot of brand name, but no taste such as the delegate from some country that let the value of brand name into something worthless.

I believe that Chuttima will do best and could deal with her dream as best as she could.

Eventually, I would like to suggest the foreign beauty pageant fans to assemble as a big community and try to improve your own beauty queen. We will cheer our beauty queen with the most enjoyable.

But who is the beauty queen “like robot that has a lot of brand name, but no taste such as the delegate from some country that let the value of brand name into something worthless”?
