Yes of course we are all proud of Maiko, but very very disappointed with Miss Universe!! What’s their criteria to select the 15 finalists? I can’t understand!!

Some of them did so bad at the interviews and also bad evening gowns, and entered the Top 15!

Congratulations to Maiko, I think she did a fantastic job, she has that very special combination of modern and elegant look. Japan must be very proud! I think she should’ve been in the top 15 along with other candidates that did their very best and it showed during this period.

Come on guys we are all proud of maiko but lets be honnest although she did an amazing job, we can’t say taht miss mexico doesn’t deserve to be miss universe. She is so beautiful and did an amazing job too so I think this year was really fair. More than last years.

don’t feel bad don’t know what happened top the TOP15 after Trump’s choice. Maiko appeared several times on the screen and she looks radiant with her black evening gown and her hair done in a bun. Maiko was indeed a great choice for MUJ2010!

Everyone know Maiko is greate person!
Buy, each judger has each different favorite, opinion…so,If totally different judger makes judge,
result will very diferent, which means Maiko could be selected TOP15. This is my opinion.

Maiko deserves a Top15 spot!!! What a shame MU chose so many undeserving Europeans in the Top15. Personally, I think Maiko was definitely robbed by Russia, Czech Rep and France… they all sucked in the preliminary and their interviews.

Otsukare!! Maiko was amazing! She did everything right. It was just bad timing. She looks too much like Riyo, who won just 3 years ago. I bet MUO wants their winners to have a wide variety of looks.

Maybe it would be best to hold off on Riyo look-a-likes until 2017 at the earliest.

I still believe this year Kanako Mitobe should have won MUJ,but Maiko did really great job.
I give you some advices to next year,that is Japan need younger,beautiful lady.Maiko is smart,but she is older than other countries.
we need like Ayaka Koyanagi type girl,she was Top 5 2009 in MUJ.
this year Momoka was good,but she is not type for Miss universe.
and Japan is always wear Gucci gown,,,i think Japan should wear original gown,not designer dress.

I think maiko should have used the straight hair in the preliminaries, but whatever the MU there are many things behind we do not know!

My Miss Universe is Maiko!!! She did great every moment.

I don’t understand the MU organization’s requisite for being at least top 10.
Maybe, we fans and supporters should have made Maiko and MUJ an appeal to the world for example on the MU website or Youtube more.

Mexico did an amazing presentation for swimsuit with fresh, happy and fun energy that no other contestants can generate. Jamaica was sooo close and she looks fresh & sporty version of Beyonce. She’s so adorable! Maiko and you did a great job and I understand how hard it is to compete for MU!

Im so happy my country won!!! Im sad Maiko didnt make it, i was sure whe would be there. But such is Miss Universe, I want to say that Maiko has been one of the most beautiful japanese women i have ever seen! I think she will make it and have huge success in her life…

If you noticed guys- all of those girls who posed topless (although not really topless) were not called in the finals- USA, Trinidad and Japan are all contenders….. at one point, I thought Trinidad could win it all

But I agree with Ines- Mexico is a deserving winner……and Jamaica, as expected did really well. I just hoped Japan was there- it would had been more exciting
