I am on… THE BEACH… since yesterday.

We are in Krabi island in Thailand, Phi Phi Island, where the Movie The Beach with Leonardo Dicaprio was filmed. My boys have a 2-weeks Easter holiday break,  being on the UK school calendar and I took them for an adventure trip on the immaculate white sand beaches and luxuriously green jungles of this remote islands of Thailand. Lots of sunscreen and mineral water….. Day full of activities, being also with my dear friends from Hong Kong, Bobby, Tina, Laureen and Michael….. more news and pictures soon.

 

Gonna run, taxi picks us up in 10 mn to get on a boat for the day.

We worked 10hours straight, I just took time to feed Maiko every 2 hours, as she has to put on 5 kilos. She already gained one kilo. I wish I would have this problem! She has the Japanese genes… lucky genes!

Maiko emailed me before Dubai and asked me if i could help her with her styling. There are million of clothes at the office, but when you are not used to it, it is not that simple to put up full looks together. I am going away (Thailand and Singapore) also I told Maiko to come to my home. We brought almost every clothes from the office. Also, at my home we ended up with accessories, clothes and shoes all over the place!!! Crazy!

We started at 11 am sharp and finished exhausted at 9:30 pm!! We could not move anymore at the end. It felt like if we were going to collapse. But we did it, we finished! Total of 36 looks photographed,,,,,, plus 8 more without photo… because my camera died!

Andrea was shooting at the beginning but she had to leave. Also, afterward the quality of the pictures drops dramatically because I took pictures with Juliet’s (our Nanny) camera, very quickly, just to make sure we have pictures to put in Maiko’s look-book. It makes it easier for her to get dressed in the morning, to go to work as Miss Japan, and also to change in the evening to attend events or diners.

Below, Maiko is wearing a spectacular Gucci leather jacket from its 2008 winter collection. I bought the earrings in Dubai, in both gold and silver. We went shopping with Emiri for 5 hours non-stop in Dubai, amazing department stores. We went together with Emiri shopping at the Dubai Mall. We shopped so much that we had to call Leslie Kee and his boyfriend to help us carry our bags!!! I swear… I actually have a picture, I will show you how much was inside the trunk of our chauffeured car.

Keeping the same base, but changing the mood by simply changing the jacket and also her earings and shoes to silver. I love Maiko with hats. I need to buy a few for her. Mostly because she needs to grow her bang, and it is a great way to hide it until it grows.
