5:30 am at home, Tokyo Sunday 1st of March.（東京の自宅にて、３月１日（日）午前5:30） Everybody is still sleeping inside my quiet home as I write. The jetllag got me up at 5 am. I cannot wait to kiss my baby boys when they wake up and have breakfast with them, as they were sleeping when I arrived at home last night. （私がブログをアップしている今、みんなはまだ私の静かな家で眠っているわ。時差ボケで朝の５時に目が覚めてしまったの。私のかわいい息子達が起きてきたら、キスをして一緒に朝食を取るのが待ちきれないわ。昨夜私が帰ってきたときにはもう彼らは眠ってしまっていたからね。） Our one-week journey to California has been a true dream, and it was a good opportunity for me to get to know Ayaka, Lulu and Emily, the 3 finalists who won the lucky draw and got to travel with me. Every time we have to decide who get to have or to do something, we use a big plastic box, every finalist write her name on a piece of paper, then we do a lucky draw. This way it is fair and easy. （カリフォルニアへの１週間の旅は本当に夢のようで、私にとっては３人のファイナリスト、綾華、Lulu、絵美里のことをよく知る良い機会になったわ。３人はくじ引きで私と一緒に旅をするチャンスを得たのよ。私達はいつも、誰かが何かをもらったり、何かをするかを決めるときはくじ引きをするの。大きな箱に、ファイナリスト達が自分の名前を書いた紙を入れて、そこから選ぶのよ。このやり方だと、公平で簡単だからね。） My best memories of the trip are when we went cycling along the white sand beach of Santa Barbara in the morning. Also, our visit to the winery nested within the green and spectacular hills of the valley of Santa Inez, close to Santa Barbara. I loved going early morning inside the finalists room filled with music and laughter while they were getting ready for the day having their styling, make-up and hair done by our team. I loved also my shopping time in Los Angeles’ little select shops, and our late night shopping in Santa Barbara department store hunting for shoes, or in between shooting time, on the streets of Santa Barbara, with plenty of amazing shops. We went to the unique farmer’s-market, with farmers coming from around selling their organic products, such as veggies, fruits, honey, fruit jams ect…. （私の素晴らしい思い出を紹介するわ。朝にサンタバーバラの白いビーチに沿ってサイクリングしたこと。サンタバーバラの近くの、サンタイネスの谷の青々とした壮大な丘に作られたワイン醸造所を訪ねたこと。朝早くにファイナリストの部屋を訪ねるのも楽しかったわ。音楽と笑いにあふれた部屋で、私達のチームからスタイリングやヘアメイクをしてもらって、その日の準備をしていたわ。そしてロサンゼルスのセレクトショップでのショッピング、夜遅くのサンタバーバラのデパートでの靴探し、撮影の合間にたくさんの素晴らしいお店があるサンタバーバラの通りでもショッピングをしたわ。ユニークな農家のマーケットにも行ったわ。農家の方々が、いろんなところから自然食品を売りに来ていたの。野菜、フルーツ、蜂蜜、フルーツジャムとかね。） From left: Lulu, Emily, Ayaka featured in The Santa Barbara Newspaper　　左から：Lulu、絵美里、綾華　サンタバーバラの現地新聞記事 We got to shop and shoot at OPI salon, at the Organic Pharmacy, at the amazing SPA inside the Beverly Hills Hotel, walking on Rodeo Drive, also while shopping at the incredible Tarina Tarentino store, where I bought a lot of trendy accessories (Bracelets, Hair decos, rings, earrings, necklace ect….). They have the line sold in Japan in Takashimaya. （OPIサロンや、The Organic Pharmacy、ビバリーヒルズホテルの素晴らしいスパ、そしてロデオドライブを歩きながら買い物や撮影をしたわ。そしてTarina Tarentinoという素晴らしいお店で買い物しながらね。そのお店で私はたくさんおしゃれなアクセサリーを買ったわ。（ブレスレット、ヘアアクセサリー、指輪、イヤリング、ネックレスなどね。）日本では高島屋で買うことができるのよ。） We had 2 fun parties organized. A pizza party while having a hand and feet care, watching Sex & the City movie, inside the Canary Hotel fabulous suite, in Santa Barbara. The second party was held at the Thompson trendy hotel in Beverly Hills , on its roof-top where we watch the sunset and the views of downtown Los Angeles, sipping on cocktails and chatting.  Wile we enjoyed every moments, we had 3 cameras shooting photos non-stop (ELLE, VOCE, AN-AN & HANAKO) and also MUJTV. （楽しいパーティーも２度開催されたわ。サンタバーバラにあるCanary Hotelの素敵なスイートルームで、ハンドケアとフットケアを受けている間に、Sex and the Cityムービーを見ながら、ピザパーティーをしたの。２つ目のパーティーは、ビバリーヒルズのおしゃれなホテル、The Thompsonで行われたの。屋上で夕日とロサンゼルスのダウンタウンの風景を見ながら、カクテルを飲みながらおしゃべりをしたのよ。パーティーを楽しんでいる間中、３台のカメラがノンストップで撮影していたわ。（ELLE, VOCE, AN-AN & HANAKO）そしてMUJTVもね。） Now…. talking about my 3 traveling-beauties! （それでは・・・私と一緒に旅をした３人の美女について書くわ。） Lulu is so much fun to be with, she is always ahead of everyone, she has a personality which would be much liked at Miss Universe, she is like a sunshine of positiveness. And it is great that she can speak fluently French, English and Japanese. We speak together most of the time in French, like with Kurara Chibana. The reason why Lulu speaks well French is because she has lived in Switzerland 3 years during her high-school time. Then one year, college in Paris. Lulu has a unique sense of humor, a great body, everything looks good on her because she is tall, long and has incredible legs. Her face is small and her hair straight, long and silky. Lulu is half Chinese because her mother is Taiwanese. She is always smiling, fearless and happy. I like her very much. She is intense, deep and smart. When she speaks, she always deliver a coherent, and straight to the point statement. She is elegant, sophisticated fun to be with and delicate. She is always laughing and positive. Emily speaks fluently English because she has lived in California for her studies. Also this trip was close to her heart. Ayaka needs to work on her confidence, of course she is younger than the other 2 girls and 4 years make a difference in term of experience and confidence. Ayaka has to loose a little weight also I will put her on a work-out program. She would make a beautiful winner. Two more months to go, everything can happen at this stage.
