Kurara interviewed Tinsley Mortimer
New York socialiteTinsley Mortimer, came to Tokyo to to present her new line of bags that she designed for Samantha Thavasa. Kurara interviewed her for
a fashion program on TBS.
Samantha is soon opening its first flagstore on the prestigious Madison Avenue this fall.
Tinsley is one of their muse. Kurara will be flying to New York for the opening as well if she doesn’t win, if not she will be already there!
FITTING FOR LOS ANGELES
Yesterday, we spent the entire afternoon at the press room in Aoyama.
Kurara chose from the designer’s latest collection, some outfits that she will wear in Los Angeles to attend events during the 3 weeks that she will be there.
I will post pictures of her in the clothes later on.
But for now, pls see what she selected from the Fall Winter 2006 collection, during the Tokyo fashion week. (Kurara will wear the summer version of it).

Today we spent the afternoon, with Kurara, at Press House , the PR agency of differents prestigious designer brands such as
Shanghai Tang from Hong Kong,
Rosa Cha and Colcci from Brazil,
and Anne Fontaine from France
They had prepared many different outfits for Kurara to choose, and she chose:
A top with Swaroski crystals by Colcci,
with black silk trousers by Shanghai Tang for a dinner event
a whool black dress with Swarsky yellow crystals by Colcci

For the diner at Tadashi’s home, Kurara felt in loved with this delicate 2-pieces dress designed by Yumi Eto, a 3rd generation Japanese Canadian.
Yumi Eto now leaves in Tokyo, she was then called the “Christian Dior of Canada”,
She is a good friend of Sase san who runs Press House, and who is so good to us always!

What could possibly be a worst nightmare????….
The Thai cook and her team that we hired for the evening was supposed to arrive at home to cook at 4:30 pm, and instead they arrived home with the food at 9:30 pm.
Our guest arrived at home at 8;00 pm and we waited for the food to arrive for one and half hour!!! Everyone laught about it but I never felt so stressed out.
We found out that she was busy with another reception party somewhere esle and we did not know….

Toros and horses, those are my family passions. I grew up with horses and poneys in our backyard, my wildest joy is galoping in a middle of an open field, on an early morning with toros around fearing for my horse. It is the best adrenaline in the world.
In two weeks, I will be on my way to France with my my 2 little boys for almost 2 months. The name of the village is Sommieres, close to Spain.
On July 20th, I will fly to LA from the south of France to go to the Miss Universe pageant. Only for a few days because I will fly back to France on the 24th to go back to my babies. It will be a big contrast from my farm in a small village in the South of France to the city of the stars!
PRELIMINARY INTERVIEW
All national directors have just received a notice from the MUO Organization that this year they have changed the format of the preliminary interview.
For the fisrt this year, each delegate will introduce herself in English and will have 30 sec. sharp to convince them that she has what it takes to be in the finals.
Also, Kurara’s interview coach came back from Canada for 4 days and will prepare her.
Interview competition is THE most important in the all process. Also we are giving a 200% to prepare her for it.
